Mr. Binns is a graduate of LaSalle University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he earned his B.S. in Accounting, magma cum laude and his M.A. in Bi-cultural Communications concentrating on French and Spanish. He has endowed an academic scholarship and dedicated the James J. Binns Fitness Center (1992) at the University.
During the tenure of University President Brother Patrick Ellis, F.S.C., Mr. Binns served as a member of the University’s Board of Trustees (1980 – 1995).
