In 1995, Mr. Binns founded the internationally acclaimed Judeo-Christian School at Roman Catholic, the oldest Catholic high school for boys in America. The faculty members are practicing Rabbis who teach the Roman Catholic students an honors course for which they receive grade point credit. The students learn the history of Judaism and the current practices of Jews throughout the world. As part of the course curriculum, students make regular visits to the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C., the Jewish Historical Museum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and synagogues throughout the metropolitan area. At the termination of the school year, students write a synopsis of the course outlining its meaning to them, their families and friends. The founding Rabbi is Allan Fuchs , the former Chief Rabbi at Congregation Rodeph Shalom. Rabbi Fuchs is now retired. The current Rabbi is Murray Silberman. To date, over 500 students have successfully completed this course. It has become without question the most popular program at Roman Catholic High School.

The Jewish community has repeatedly recognized Mr. Binns for the impact that this innovative school has made upon inter-faith understanding between Christians and Jews. His efforts in support of World Jewry have been recognized by the Anti-Defamation League, B’Nai B’Rith, State of Israel Bonds, Inc. and the Prime Minister of Israel. Mr. Binns has also endowed a scholastic scholarship at Roman Catholic High School.
